Sunset Over the Sound

"Sunset Over the Sound" was created from a photo I took while on Topsail Island last summer. I loved the play of light on the water, and the complementary colors. It was curious that no one was out on the pier to watch the sunset. It is a tradition at Topsail, that if you can see the sunset, it is honored with drink in hand on the beach, the porch, or on the pier. Sometimes the sun just melts. Nature puts on quite a show! Framed acrylic on 11"X14" canvas.
