Natural Dunes II

What captivated me about this scene was the way the late afternoon light played on the dunes and grasses. The dunes at Topsail are protected, and hefty fines are imposed for walking on them. Turtles make their nests at the base of the dunes. The entire area is a wildlife refuge. 20X30" acrylic on canvas.
