I photographed this "tranquil" scene while kayaking. Since the colors in the photo were rather boring, I added a lot of color excitement to the trees and reflections, and the result is kind of abstract. The more realistic pier and skiff anchor the reality of the scene. Who says summer can't be colorful! 9"X16" pastel matted in a 14"X22" frame.
